Mitä? Staabin Fuksiviikot!
Milloin? 17.8.- 13.9.

Hei fuksi – tervetuloa Staabiin! Staabin fuksiviikoilla on luvassa monenlaisia tapahtumia, joissa pääset tutustumaan niin yliopistomaailman pyörteisiin kuin myös toisiin fukseihin. Tapahtumien sisältöön mahtuu niin bileitä, rentoa hengailua, liikuntaa, koulutuspolitiikkaa kuin myös hauskanpitoa eri ainejärjestöjen opiskelijoiden kanssa.

Löydät alta kaikki fuksiviikkojen keskeiset päivämäärät – tapahtumien kohdalle päivitetään linkit kunkin tapahtuman omalle tapahtumasivulle, josta löydät enemmän tietoa kyseisestä tapahtumasta.

17.8. Ensitapaaminen
Ensitapaamisessa Staabin uudet fuksit (ensimmäisen vuoden opiskelijat) pääsevät tapaamaan toisensa ja tuutorinsa! Päivä alkaa tuutorryhmän tapaamisessa, johon kunkin ryhmän tuutorit antavat ohjeistuksen. Tapaamisesta ryhmäläiset suuntaavat yhdessä Messukylän Työväentalolle, jossa luvassa on yhteistä ohjelmaa!

18.8. Kampuskierros
Staabin fuksiviikot starttaa perinteinen kampuskierros! Kierroksen aikana uudet fuksit pääsevät tutustumaan kampuksen keskeisimpiin hotspotteihin sekä Pinninkadun piilotettuihin aarteisiin omien tuutoreidensa johdolla. Kierroksen ohessa tuutorit opastavat fukseja ensimmäisen periodin kurssivalintojen kanssa, auttaen heitä yliopistouransa aloittamisessa.

19.8. Kerrostalosuunnistus
Haluatko päästä tutustumaan muihinkin kuin tuutorryhmäsi fukseihin? Tässä tapahtumassa siihen on oiva mahdollisuus! Fuksit jaetaan täysin sekaryhmiin, joissa he pääsevät kiertämään tuutoreiden asunnoissa järjestettäviä rasteja. Ilta päättyy yhteisille jatkoille. Tätä monen Staabin suosikkitapahtumaa et halua missata!

21.8. Tutustumisbileet
Keitä nämä uudet Staabit oikein ovat, ja mistä he tulevat? Entäs keitä nämä akateemisesti vanhemmat staabit ovat? Staabin legendaarisissa Tutustumisbileissä, eli Tuttareissa uudet ja vanhat staabit pääsevät tutustumaan toisiinsa sekä viettämään Kolmiobileiden etkoja eli ketkoja! Illan aikana julistetaan myös Kersun voittajajoukkue, otetaan ryhmäkuvat tuurorryhmistä sekä kuullaan muutama tervehdyspuheenvuoro

21.8. Kolmiot
Uudet tuulet puhaltavat niin fukseille kuin Kolmioillekin! Elokuun Kolmioita päästään viettämään ensimmäistä kertaa uudella kokoonpanolla Fame Clubilla sekä H5 Bar&Cellarissa.

25.8. Haalarimainosinfo
Mistä saan tilattua haalarit? Mitkä ihmeen haalarimainokset? Näihin ja moniin muihin kutkuttaviin kysymyksiin saat vastauksen haalarimainosinfossa! Tule siis paikalle kuulemaan kaikki tarpeellinen näiden kiehtovien ja vapaudu vankilasta -efektin aiheuttavien kapistuksien hankinnasta.

26.8. Boomi x Staabi kaupunkiseikkailu
Hallintotieteilijät ja kauppatieteilijät pääsevät yhdistämään voimansa kilpailussa, jossa kuljetaan läpi Tampereen kuuluisien nähtävyyksien, sekä nautitaan uusista tuttavuuksista hauskojen rastiaktiviteettien parissa. Tapahtumassa ryhmät sekoitetaan molempien järjestöjen fuksien kesken, eli hyvällä onnella voit kenties löytää ensimmäisen poikkitieteellisen ystävän! Pakkaa mukaasi siis rutkasti seikkailumieltä, nokkeluutta sekä kilpailuhenkeä, ja heittäydy Kaupunkiseikkailun vietäväksi!

28.8. Fuksipiknik
Fuksipiknikillä vietetään aikaa yhdessä Sorsapuistossa. Täällä pääset tapaamaan pääainejärjestöt sekä sovittamaan haalareita!

30.8. Fuksiolympialaiset
Jos kaipaat uusia tuttavuuksia leikkimielisten kilpailujen merkeissä, tämä tapahtuma on sinulle! Fuksiolympialaisten tarkoituksena on jakaa fuksit ja tuutorit ryhmiin, joissa pelataan erinäköisiä matalan kynnyksen ulkopelejä.

2.9. Aikuisopiskelijoiden tutustumisilta
Hei aikuisopiskelija! Tule tutustumaan uusiin opiskelukavereihin tai morjestamaan vanhoja tuttuja. Aloitellaan uutta lukuvuotta, vaihdetaan kuulumisia ja pelataan matalan kynnyksen pelejä. 

2.9. Kampusvaihdos
Nyt kun keskusta on tullut erilaisten suunnistusten kautta tutummaksi, on aika suunnata Hervantaan ja Hervannan kampukselle, jossa tiedekuntamme teknilliset alatkin sijaitsevat! Ja ketä ovatkaan nämä tuotantotalouden killan Indecsin teekkariveljemme? Se selviää Staabin ja Indecsin yhteisessä kampusvaihdoksessa, jossa pääset tutustumaan ihka oikeisiin teekkareihin, Hervannan kampukseen sekä kiltahuoneisiin!

3.9. Yliopisto for Dummies
Oletko miettinyt, keneltä pyytää apua ongelmatilanteissa? Mitä ovat opiskelijan oikeudet? Kuinka huolehtia omasta jaksamisesta? Yliopisto for Dummies vastaa näihin ja muihin kysymyksiin.

3.9. Hengailua ja lautapelejä
Haluatko hengähtää keskellä fuksiviikkojen hurjia meininkejä? Kaipaatko rentoa jutustelua ja pelailua muiden staabilaisten seurassa? Tervetuloa keskiviikkona 3.9. klo 18 alkaen Café Europaan istuskelemaan, pelailemaan lautapelejä, sekä tärkeimpänä jutustelemaan muiden staabilaisten ja tukitoimihenkilöiden kanssa.

4.9. Harkkasitsit
Mikä on tämä akateeminen pöytäjuhla, jota sitseiksikin kutsutaan? Nämä sitsit ovat tarkoitettu erityisesti Staabin uusille fukseille, heidän tuutoreilleen sekä muille akateemisesti vanhemmille staabeille. Sitseillä lauletaan, syödään, juodaan, kisaillaan sekä tutustutaan sitsien sääntöihin sekä muutenkin Staabin sitsikulttuuriin! Illan päätteeksi on mahdollisuus suunnata yhdessä Haalaribileisiin jatkoille.

8.9. Fuksiliikunta
Fuksiliikunnassa mennään yhdessä Kauppiin Vesitornin kentälle jossa pelataan kansallispeliä eli pesäpalloa sekä tutustutaan uuteen akateemiseen tuttavuuteen eli kyykkään!

12.9. Yhdistysinfo
Mitkä ihmeen TREY, HALLI tai SYY? Nämä sekä monet muut Tampereella toimivat yhdistykset tulevat esittäytymään, joten suuntaa kohti Lyhtyä ja tule tutustumaan kaikkiin erilaisiin yhdistyksiin ja siihen, mitä kaikkea ne tekevät!

13.9. Kastajaiset
Fuksiviikkojen loppuhuipennus on vihdoin täällä! Staabin kastajaisissa fuksit kastetaan pesunkestäviksi virkamiehiksi monien koettelemusten jälkeen. Tästä legendaarisesta kastajaispäivästä huhutaan kaikenlaista ja jokaisella staabilla on omia unohtumattomia tarinoita kerrottavanaan, mutta mikä pitääkään paikkansa? Se selviää vain osallistumalla tähän ikimuistoiseen päivään! Tapahtumaa ei tarvitse pelätä tai jännittää etukäteen, hauskaa tulee varmasti olemaan.

What? Staabi Freshman Week!
When? August 17 – September 13

Hello, freshman – welcome to Staabi! During Staabi’s Freshman Week, there will be a variety of events where you can get to know both the university world and other freshmen. The events will feature parties, relaxing hangouts, physical activities, education politics, and fun with students from various subject associations.

Below, you’ll find all the key dates for Freshman Week – event links will be updated with more details on each event’s own page.

17.8. First Meeting
In the First Meeting, Staabi’s new freshmen (first-year students) will meet each other and their tutors! The day starts with a meeting in the tutor groups, where the tutors will give instructions. After the meeting, the groups will head together to the Messukylä Workers’ House, where a joint program is waiting!

18.8. Campus Tour
Staabi’s Freshman Weeks kick off with the traditional Campus Tour! During the tour, new freshmen will get to know the campus’s key hotspots and the hidden gems of Pinninkatu, guided by their tutors. Along the way, tutors will also help freshmen with course selections for the first study period, helping them start their university journey smoothly.

19.8. Apartment Building Orienteering
Want to meet freshmen outside of your tutor group? This event is a great opportunity! Freshmen will be divided into mixed groups, where they will visit the homes of tutors to complete various tasks. The evening ends with a joint after-party. This is one of Staabi’s favorite events, and you won’t want to miss it!

21.8. Introduction Party
Who are these new Staabis, and where do they come from? And who are the academically older Staabis? In Staabi’s legendary Introduction Party (Tuttarit), new and old Staabis get to know each other while also celebrating the pre-party for the Triple Party (Kolmiobileet)! During the evening, the winning team of the Kersu competition will be announced, group photos of tutor groups will be taken, and a few welcoming speeches will be heard.

21.8. Kolmiot
Fresh winds are blowing for both fuksi’s and Kolmiot! This August, Kolmiot will be celebrated for the first time with a new setup at Fame Club and H5 Bar&Cellar. 

25.8. Overalls Advertisement Info
Where can I order overalls? What on earth are overall ads? These and many other intriguing questions will be answered at the Overall Advertisement Info Session! So come along to hear everything essential about getting these fascinating items that bring a real get out of jail free card effect.

26.8. Boomi x Staabi City Adventure
Public administration and business students join forces in a competition that takes them through some of Tampere’s most famous landmarks, while enjoying fun checkpoint activities and making new connections. The groups will be mixed between freshmen from both organizations, so you might just meet your first interdisciplinary friend! So pack your sense of adventure, cleverness, and competitive spirit, and let yourself be swept away by the City Adventure!

28.8. Freshman Picnic
At the Freshman Picnic, we’ll spend time together in Sorsapuisto park. Here, you’ll get to meet the major-specific student associations and try on your overalls for the first time!

30.8. Freshman Olympics
If you’re looking to meet new people through playful competitions, this event is for you! The purpose of the Freshmen’s Olympics is to divide the freshmen and tutors into teams to play various easygoing outdoor games.

4.9. Evening for Adult Students
Hey, adult student! Come and meet new fellow students or greet old friends. Let’s start a new academic year, catch up, and play low-threshold games together! Above all, let’s hang out and have some good time.

2.9. Campus Exchange
Now that downtown has become more familiar through various orienteering events, it’s time to head out to Hervanta and the Hervanta campus – where the technical fields of our faculty are located! But who are these teekkari brothers and sisters from Indecs, the guild of Industrial Engineering and Management? Find out at the joint Campus Exchange between Staabi and Indecs, where you’ll get to meet real teekkaris, explore the Hervanta campus, and visit the guild rooms!

3.9. University for Dummies
Have you ever wondered who to ask for help in difficult situations? What are a student’s rights? How to take care of yourself? University for Dummies answers these and other questions.

3.9. Chill and Board Games
Want to take a break from the intense happenings of Freshman Week? Looking for some relaxed conversation and board games with other Staabi members? Join us on Wednesday, September 3, starting at 6 PM at Café Europa for some chill hangouts, board games, and most importantly, conversations with other Staabi members and support staff.

4.9. Trial Sits
What’s this academic dinner party called “sits”? These sits are specifically for Staabi’s new freshmen, their tutors, and other academically older Staabis. At the sits, we’ll sing, eat, drink, compete, and learn about the rules of sits as well as Staabi’s sits culture! At the end of the evening, there will be an opportunity to head together to the Overalls Party for afters.

8.9. Freshman Sports
In Freshman Sports, we head to the Water Tower field in Kauppi to play the national sport – pesäpallo (Finnish baseball) – and get introduced to a unique academic sport: kyykkä!

12.9. Association info
What on earth are TREY, HALLI, and SYY? These and many other associations operating in Tampere will be introducing themselves, so head over to Lyhty and come and find out about all the different associations and what they do!

13.9. Baptism
The grand finale of Freshman Week is finally here! In Staabi’s Baptism, freshmen are initiated as full-fledged officials after many trials. There are many rumors about this legendary baptism day, and every Staabi has their own unforgettable stories to tell, but what’s true? You’ll only find out by participating in this memorable day! There’s no need to fear or stress about the event in advance – it’s sure to be fun!
